Crochet Vests
Three easy crochet vests made in a variety of ways. Pieced with
motifs, or crocheted all in one piece. Try your hand at Irish
Crochet.
Great to crochet.
- Crochet Cotton Vest: This is a perfect
"take-along" project as the small squares fit easily
in a bag, and you don't have to think while you make your
squares.
- Easy Crochet Vest: Vest starts at bottom. Collar is
created by simple decreases. You'll be amazed how it works.
- Irish Crochet Vest: Same as Easy Vest with an Irish
Crochet stitch.

Easiest Vests
SpinCraft's "Knit from the Top" method is best way
ever to make a vest! So easy, and it is "Knit so it
Fits" -- which means you knit away until it fits.
Measurements are easy. And it comes out with such a great fit. I
just can't believe that it took me so many years of designing
knitting patterns to come up with this idea. But now that it's
here, I want to do it over and over. And fortunately, this shape
has unlimited variations.
Also for the beginning knitter, is the traditionally easy vest -
The Sheperds Vest. Basically a long rectangle with a hole in the
middle for the head. So many people start their knitting careers
with this vest and it is a must-have for the knitters library.
- Easiest Vest Ever: Neck and arms are shaped like
magic. The most versatile and easiest vest design ever!
- Turtle Vest: This vest was inspired by an ancient
Native American Hohokam design. Shape is created by decreases.
- Sheperd's Vest: This is a simple pattern that is
appreciated by beginning knitters.
- Tank Top: This tank top is easy to knit and easy to
fit. Made in the same way as "Easiest Vest."

Lace Vests
A great set of vests for the lace knitter. One of the great
things about a SpinCraft Pattern is that you can make them to any
size - and that means to any length. With these four lace patterns
you have the option of going long or short, tight or lose. You are
also given a variety of fun-to-knit lace stitch patterns which you
can interchange with other projects. We are calling these vests
"Intermediate" in skill level only because the very
beginning knitter usually doesn't tackle lace. But they are all
really quite easy to accomplish, and yet interesting and beautiful
for the experienced knitter.
- Lace Vest: The lace pattern stitch is mixed with
cables for a beautiful affect.
- Color & Cable Vest: The patterns are a mixture of
cables and color and a variety of lace stitches with a band of
attractive two-color knitting for extra interest.
- Leaf Lace Vest: This vest is made with a very
attractive lace stitch, and also has triangular shaped
"leaves" at the bottom.
- Summer Lace Vest: Lace is joined at the throat
with one button, and has a variety of lace stitches for
interest.

Shaped Vests
These vests are all knit from the top and worked down to
length. Short rows performed on the top back yoke give them a nice
fit on the shoulders. Very classy to wear. After the top shaping
is done you have many options, add llama motifs, an attractive
moss stitch strip, or entrelac knitting. With this pattern set you
have unlimited possibilities for adding your own favorite knitting
stich. You can add anything, color, cables, lace - anything!
So many ways to make this vest.
- Llama Vest: Perfect vest for the llama enthusiast.
Knit two cute little llamas designs into the top shoulders of
the vest. And more than that- use handspun wool from your
favorite llamas!
- Pointed Vest: Great for that "Dress for
Success" look. This attractive vest is like a suit-coat
vest with a double-pointed tapered front. Very stylish.
- Moss Stitch Vest & Gloves: Features the Shaped
Vest's tapered yoke, and has a vertical moss stitch stripe
down the front.
- Entrelac Vest: These instructions explain entrelac
knitting with simple charts to make it easy.

Unusual Vests
Three great ideas for knitting a vest -- all very different --
all very fun. Why not put just one cable up the side of a vest? It
looks great! Not so busy as a usual cabled vest, and interesting
to knit. Or why not knit a vest starting at one side and ending at
the other? You'll be surprised to find out how easy the shaping is
when you go sideways. Or why not just cast on a neck and knit away
until you run out of yarn? We have the perfect patterns for these
unusual shapes.
Great to knit.
- Cable One Side Vest: Attractive vest with one
cable.
- Side to Side Vest: Can be made as a cardigan or a
Pullover.
- 'Til the Yarn Runs Out Vest: This vest is easy to
knit from the top down.
